The design team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, has created the
magic of Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 36-hole
facility built by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Native American Community
gets its name from the ancient instrument used to mark significant
historic events. The two uniquely divergent golf courses offer many
options for golfer’s of all levels of play, from links-style
adventure through the grasslands and ingenious bunkering on the
North course, to a traditional style of play on the tree lined fairways
of the South Course. The uninterrupted desert panorama takes in
the distant mountain ranges, reflecting cherished rural seclusion
within an urban environment. Talking Stick Golf Club has been consistently
ranked among the top courses in the state of Arizona. Not only has
it been ranked in the top ten, but the North course has held either
the first or second position over those four years. The South course
has also been ranked in the top-10 at number eight in previous rankings.
